Tuition, Scholarships, & Financial Aid

Invest in YOU

The Krannert Executive MBA program offers the best return on investment of any top-ranked EMBA program. Touted for its competitive price and aided by generous scholarship opportunities and various options for financial aid, any individual can put a plan in place to take part in Krannert's Executive MBA program today.

Gaining Company Support

At Krannert, we understand that corporate financial support plays a large role in the decision to pursue an Executive MBA. While we wish we could convince all employers to fully sponsor their employees, ultimately the weight of this discussion falls on you. That’s why we have developed a personalizable Gaining Company Support Tool Kit to help you navigate the negotiation waters when discussing sponsorship for one of our programs with your employer. For advice from an alum who navigated this process, view our webinar on gaining company buy-in for your EMBA.

Tuition

Tuition for the Executive MBA program is $90,000. Tuition includes*:

  • Course instruction and educational materials (course materials, e-books, software, etc.)
  • Lodging and most meals during residencies
  • Breakfast and lunch during class days
  • Snacks and refreshments during class breaks
  • Krannert EMBA cost of attendance

*Tuition does not include travel expenses for either domestic or international residencies.

Financial Aid

Most Executive MBA students finance their education through a combination of program and external scholarships, both private and federal student loans, personal income or savings, and/or corporate sponsorship. It is important to note that not all students qualify for financial sponsorship through their employer; while that option may be available to some, corporate sponsorship is not a requirement for those looking to apply to our program.

Student Loans

The first step in the process for those seeking to secure financial aid is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA). The FAFSA is the official application for federal student aid at Purdue University and it also serves as a prerequisite to being able to obtain certain government loans, such as the Stafford Loan. For more information, visit the Division of Financial Aid or contact them at 765-494-5050. You can also reach out to Kirsten Reynolds at kdreynol@purdue.edu for further assistance in exploring various loan opportunities.

Scholarships

The Daniels School of Business offers a limited number of scholarships to students each year. To be considered for a scholarship to Purdue's Executive MBA program, complete the scholarship essay found in our online application. We base our decisions on a combination of factors. We consider each student’s academic and professional background and we compare the individual with the other admitted, scholarship-seeking students within that particular class. Recipients are selected for scholarships based on leadership skills, level of employer/external funding, type of work experience (for profit vs non-profit), timeliness in submitting scholarship application, etc. Questions regarding scholarships should be directed to Sarah Ham, at hamsa@purdue.edu.

VA Benefits

If you have served in the armed forces, you may be eligible for veterans' benefits. Please note that the different branches of the military offer different types of aid and require different types of commitments. At Purdue, the Veterans Success Center certifies enrollment for veterans' benefits.

Purdue's Executive MBA program has the same tuition rate for in-state and out-of-state students, so the Post-9/11 GI Bill may cover up to 100% of the program tuition.

You are responsible for completing all necessary steps as directed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in securing financial support via your GI Bill benefits. Please contact the VA directly or reach out to Teresa Harris, Veteran Affairs Certifying Official with Purdue’s Veterans Success Center, at 765-494-1511 or harri262@purdue.edu.

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website.
