Managerial economics applies the tools of economic logic to the decisions business managers undertake. A typical class period will consist of lecture Monday through Friday mornings with time for additional learning activities. Throughout the program, students will have opportunities to visit cultural sites in Lisbon, clubs, sports organizations and private companies where they will interact with experts in those organizations. Weekends will be left free for students to take advantage of other opportunities to explore Portugal.
The MGMT 390 cultural competency course is taught by a local professor and will allow students to be fully immersed in a business course with a specific focus on the host city.
Both courses are supplemented with cultural activities, excursions, and company visits.
