The MIS area established a Distinguished Speakers Series in 2002. The objective of this series is to invite a leader in the MIS academic arena to the Krannert School and arrange a seminar where the guest of honor makes a public presentation on a research topic of current interest. Besides the seminar, the itinerary of the speaker includes meetings with the MIS faculty and doctoral students as well as other appropriate individuals. Our plan is to invite two speakers per year – one in each semester of the academic year. The following scholars have visited us so far as part of this series.
