  2025 Purdue Supply Chain and Operations Management Conference (In Honor of Professor J. George Shanthikumar)

  We are excited to announce that the 2025 Purdue Supply Chain and Operations Management Conference will take place from August 22 to 24 at Purdue University Daniels School of Business. This year, we are dedicating the conference to honor our esteemed colleague, Professor J. George Shanthikumar, Richard E. Dauch Distinguished Chair in Manufacturing and Operations Management, in celebration of his remarkable contributions to academic research, industry practice, and his 75th birthday! We extended a heartfelt invitations for an extensive list of Professor Shanthikumar's academic family members, including but not limited to his coauthors, friends and former colleagues from all over the world. Our conference page has posted a partial list of confirmed attendees. The Purdue Operations Conference is an annual event that fosters the exchange of the latest research developments among active scholars in the field of operations. Over the past two years, we have welcomed approximately 100 faculty members and Ph.D. students from institutions outside Purdue presenting at each conference. Our goal is to build an intellectual platform to gather the best minds and future academic leaders in our field to interact with each other. This year's conference is special as it will be an academic party for Professor Shanthikumar. We would like to extend our invitations to PhD students in Supply Chain and Operations Management or Operations Research fields to apply for the attendance of the conference and present their research.
