Chris Molina grew up in East Chicago, IN. Immediately upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
Having the opportunity to travel while he served, he volunteered for duty in Okinawa, Japan, where he met his two loves: His wife Katrina, and leadership roles. Taking full advantage of working for the government, he deployed to various places throughout Southeast Asia while beginning his pursuit of higher education through distance learning.
After sustaining a knee injury during a training exercise, he received an Honorable Discharge and dedicated himself full-time to his education and enrolled as a student at Purdue University in 2011. Chris continued to challenge himself during that time by taking on many leadership roles on campus and completing various internships with John Deere. He took two semesters off and became a government contractor through Honeywell for six months (which led to sailing across the globe on the USNS SACAGAWEA).
Chris graduated from Purdue with a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Minor in Philosophy in 2015, and began a supply chain and operations career at John Deere. He left John Deere in 2018 to pursue a professional speaking career.
A lifelong learner, author, speaker, podcaster, husband, father, entrepreneur, and leadership enthusiast, Chris now resides in Westfield, IN, with his wife; daughter Ava; dog Gracie; and cat Danger.
He shares his passion for learning and leadership in his new book, I’m In A Leadership Role, Now What? To learn more, visit chris-molina.com.
