We’ve all encountered challenging personality dynamics — whether in the workplace or at home — and found ourselves asking, Is it me, or is it them? Personality traits help explain the consistent ways people think, feel, and behave. It’s the unique combination of these traits that makes each individual distinct.
Dr. Susan South, an internationally recognized researcher who investigates the links between romantic relationship functioning, personality, and psychopathology, will share research on how difficult personality traits can make relationships more challenging and discuss practical strategies for recognizing and managing these dynamics at work, at home, and beyond.
The Daniels School of Business, Purdue Center for Working Well, and Purdue HR Case Competition is pleased to present the 2025 Working Well Conference, featuring winning research from the 2nd annual Working Well Research Awards. This research and the conference sessions support the Center for Working Well’s mission to be a cutting-edge center at the forefront of challenges facing modern workforces and employees’ desire to “work well.”
