Jacob Ott

Jacob received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Minnesota in 2021. Prior to joining Purdue University in the summer of 2024, he was an assistant professor at the London School of Economics. Most of his research explores how external forces (e.g., regulators) affect the reporting choices of firms and their behavior. His work has been published in the Accounting Review and the Review of Accounting Studies.
