CV

Lin Qiu joined Purdue’s Daniels School of Business in 2022. Her research examines how management control systems, corporate governance structures, and information design shape organizational behavior and economic outcomes. Her work focuses on the roles of boards of directors, large shareholders, and employees in driving firm decisions and performance. Professor Qiu has published in The Accounting Review, Review of Accounting Studies, and Management Science, and her research has been featured by CBS News, the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance, and Columbia’s Blue Sky Blog. She holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from NYU Stern, an M.A. in Economics from Peking University, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Peking University.
