CV

Jing Li is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Supply Chain and Operations Management at Purdue University’s Mitch Daniels School of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Southern Methodist University.

Her teaching interests include operations management, supply chain management, procurement and sourcing, and business statistics. Her research examines decision-making under uncertainty, with a focus on how individuals and teams process information and respond to incentives.

Before joining Purdue, Professor Li was an Assistant Professor of Operations and IT Management at Saint Louis University. She has developed teaching cases and experiential learning projects with industry partners including Porsche Cars North America, Karviva Food & Beverages, and MNG 2005 Inc. Her co-authored case, “Porsche Drive (B): Pricing Analytics,” received the 2024 DSI Best Teaching Case Studies Award and was an INFORMS Case Competition finalist.

Areas of Interest: Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Sourcing, Business Statistics, Decision-Making, Experimental Methods.
