24 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.

Counseled thousands of individuals and families on all matters related to their personal financial circumstances.

Obtained the CFP® designation in 1992.

Taught the Capstone Course, Case Studies in Financial Planning, in the Financial Counseling and Planning (FCPL) major in HHS for ten years.  Currently teaching personal finance courses in the Finance Department of the Daniels School of Business.  Has also taught Retirement Planning, Tax and Estate Planning, and Personal Financial Management at Purdue.  

Past President, Secretary, and part-owner of a family owned business, Mark's Par Three Golf Course in Terre Haute, IN, which he managed for 14 years prior to the sale of the business in 2022.
