After a brief career in industry, Dr. Zhang earned her M.S. in Retail Management from Purdue University and her Ph.D. in Management of Information Technology from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Prior to joining the Daniels School of Business, she taught courses in Retail Management and Selling & Sales Management in Purdue’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, as well as Marketing courses at the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky. Committed to innovative teaching, Dr. Zhang has secured multiple teaching grants and consistently seeks to integrate cutting-edge pedagogies into her classroom.
